Hi,

I ordered my XO BMS last month from eBay. It was delivered a couple of days ago. I live in India so the delay was understandable.

Now, it does not work very well. The Voice section works just fine. But there is NO FILTER SWEEP HAPPENING!!! The Start Frequency slider does not work. The Stop Frequency slider acts just like a tone knob, honing in at different frequencies. The Start does nothing.

Please help me with this. I went through a lot to get this pedal. Do I have to return it or could I try getting it fixed here? Please tell me what I have to do. I have been waiting for this pedal for almost a year!! I just cannot fathom it not working!!!

Thanks,
Govind

i dont own one but i am very familiar with every ehx pedal. this is a problem i have never heard of before but one thing i can tell you is that warrantless pedals are still fixable through ehx (or so ive heard). your biggest problem with that would be a high price for shipping. good luck man.

oh and one of the more experienced memebers should be around to link you to some more detailed help

try turning up the trigger slider - if the signal is not high enough to trigger the pedal to sweep, it would behave as you are describing.

otherwise experiment with a compressor or line booster before the pedal and/or adjust the internal gain pot to suit your pickups

hope this helps

I’ll try working with the trigger.

I run a compressor before it. (actually i use the compressor of an old korg guitar mfx pedal). Otherwise, the signal dies out instantaneously.

I will experiment with the trim-pot & trigger slider.

Thank You,
Govind
