Hello!
Does anyone have any input on this?
I am trying to replicate the keys sound that Stevie Wonder uses on the intro to Superstition.
I am using a Clapton Strat thru a Fender Twin Reverb.
I have a POG2 (just bought it last night and caused me to only get 3 hours of sleep!lol),
and a Boss ME70 multi effects pedal.
Any thoughts, ideas, or input would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!

i think there is a clavichord [the instrument in question, in case you’re wondering] sound in one of the effectology videos. I know a lot of that sound is based on the envelope filters that are inherent in a clavichord. honestly, selling your ME70 and buying a Riddle would be your best bet to nail this sound- i really don’t think the ME70, as awesome as it is, can get it.

not ehx staff, just an effects enthusiast.

I played the intro to superstition on this video using a Ring Thing.

Yeah, I thought it was a mutron

So, I suppose any Qtron would get you pretty close

Mutron III—closest you’ll get is a Qtron.
Or you could always just go the Stevie Ray Vaughan route seeing as you already have the Strat and Fender amp.

Ring Thing/Frequency Analyzer and an envelope filter, for that Stevie Wonder/Chick Corea/Radiohead kinda Fender Rhodes tone
