The Big Muff is easily the most recognizable Electro-Harmonix product, so post yours!

Mine is a Sovtek Big Muff, which is disassembled at the moment because I need to replace the switch.

that is a very professional looking photo.

I don’t feel the need to post a pic of mine because it’s the recent USA reissue muff, everybody knows what that looks like smile if i get an opportunity though, i will anyway hehe.

Gear on the way:
Fret-King Esprit 3 (£165/£450)
Epiphone G-400 Custom <used> (£20/£195)

No rig is complete without EHX effects and a fender guitar and/or tube amplifier :D

Any mods to the russians? What happened to the “metal” in the muff?

Yeah, the new russian is actually an NYC big muff inside, the older russian is modded to somewhere in between the black and the NYC bmp, the LBM is modded to the current NYC bmp, the current bmp has tone bypass, the IC bmp is stock besides true bypass.

The metal muff,... I removed all the text so it just says “muff”, thats boredom for ya!

It really sings with the tone stack bypassed.  Lots of mid range.

Here’s my main one.
3003 v2 Lamb’s head / Ram’s Head w/ FS36999 trannies.
I’ve also got a v3 3003 w/ BC239C but no pics yet.

70s EHX craftsmanship at its best! This thing sounds awesome though (although I did true bypass it).

The 36999s do look a lot like 2N5133s.

Good eyes—I think they are rebranded 2N5133s. No magic mojo faerie dust at all. (Lots of regular dust though).

My big muff is just the USA reissue.

Intoxicated with the madness, I’m in love with my sadness
