This is cool, but is it enough to power my talk box?  If so then I don’t have to lug around my Princeton Reverb or run a pair of speaker cables between the box and amp.  What would be even better is if EH would make a talk box again with the power amp built in.  Not too sure how much this would differ from the newer items kind of like this, but I use the old-school type talk box and it really nails the Frampton/Walsh sound with the exception that I do need to have some dirt coming from my pedal board.

Sorry about the long-winded rant!

Hey Man, this is a great site with really great products.

This Pedal seems like a sweet idea but like the other guy I want to know what the clean sounds like. I need to upgrade my ampage and if i dont have to buy a expensive head it would be awesome.

well this guy says he is going to use his for gigging, that it sounds good, and has clean headroom:

And now that I think about it, an old bandmate of mine used to gig with a 22 watt vibrolux and didn’t even have to crank it.  (And then there was me with my 135 watt Bassman!)  So maybe I’m wrong.

If you’ve got the right cab, it helps a lot.

I’ve gigged rock/psych band gigs w/ a Fender Pro Jr. many times. That’s what? 15 tube?

Not sure on the conversion of tube s. SS - the onlt solid state I have is an old 100w Califone school PA, with a Jensen in it.

hi!
i’m wondering if the .22 deliver the same power for 16, 8 or 4 ohms?
normally not, but nothing is specified. Does it mean that there
is a kind of impedance adaptation at the output?

Will there be a bass version in the future?

I use a 22 caliber for Bass as practice amp.
I plug her into an old 15” hartke and get a superb boomy type of sound….
I’m gagging to try it on a 4 x 8cab or 4 x 10” for a tighter sound.

I’ve only used this for quiet practice though in an apartment. I’ve heard differing reviews of other bass players using the 22 Caliber.

I want a freedom amp

I got one on Ebay - it’s being sent over to me now.
But I’d recommend you score one of these.

Tym from Brisbane Australia is a genius.
There was the freedom amp with two small speakers, then a dirty one with one speaker.
I scored the former and this is based on the latter. I’m obviously sketchy on the facts, but there was a later release of an amp which was wooden and a combo of the two.

I see very few of these around.

I’m gonna score the FAMP this year- but I’m SO impressed with the 22 caliber I might just score the foam cab.
