Whats up guys? My name is Lee Chavez, I’m fourteen years old, and I got my first EHX on January 9th 2009! It’s a Holy (Magic) Stain, and I love the heck out of it!

It’s a great story on how I received it, but I’ve only told a select group of people. Others wouldn’t be so jolly, and not believe me. That’s your hint

I was estactic when I found out there is a EHX forum, so I’ll be here a lot. Thanks for having me!

Catalinbread DLS - Anyone?

so the time came… i’m getting rid of Jekyll&Hyde;and getting something else… the thing is - JH is an awesome pedal, but i got into this band and i think that it’s not the sound what the band needs… so i’m thinking about getting some nice, dynamic, high quality drive pedal with not-so-much high gain but with the punch and growl

if everything works out, in few days there will be Catalinbread Dirty Little Secret in Absinth green colour heading my way from the USA…

does anyone have any experience with the DLS? from demos it sounds amazing - what do you think?

im after an overdrive to go with my setup, just after something that will give a little bit of crunch when i hit the strings harder-what do you recommend?

neck pick-up for sg-standard

I play an SG-Standard with Humbuckers through a Vox AC30. When I’m at home by myself I love the neck pick-ups, it has rich full tones, But when I play with my band I have to switch to my bridge pick-ups because the guitar tone doesn’t cut through the rest of the sounds being made.

I hate to see a part of my guitar not being used, so I was wondering if anyone had any ideas on a different neck pick-up for my guitar. I think I need more treble and perhaps more mids, but def less bass.

I’ve been browsing the Seymour Duncan site listening to samples, but so far nothing has jumped out at me.

Hey everyone. I’m new to the forum, but have loved EH for a while. I have a Deluxe Memory Man (my fav), Deluxe Electric Mistress, Holy Grail +, Big Muff Pi w/ Tone Wicker, and POG2. I recently played through a friend’s HOG pedal, and it really was super fun and amazingly flexible. I know how he uses it in his band (they are amazing, you should check them out http://www.fictionist.com) but I couldn’t really place the sounds in any music I’ve heard from bigger bands. Do you know any big acts that use it?
