Using circuit techniques found in classic compressors such as the LA-2A and 1176, Electro-Harmonix has put studio quality compression at the feet of musicians. Using either hand-made or hard to find light sensitive opto-couplers or tube like JFETs our compressors give you all of the bite and attack of your instrument with the added sustain, even dynamics and vintage warmth you would expect from compressors sitting in the world's top studios. To top it off EHX came up with our own world class studio compressor: the NY-2A.
